THE PLEDGES

I am equally excited about the opportunities we have in the pledge drive. Here's how it will work. All pledges are going to be based on the auction prices for the pianos. There will be 5 different pledge opportunities for each piano. They are:

PENNY, NICKEL, DIME, QUARTER, DOLLAR
Each correspond to every dollar given toward the pianos.

In other words, if the auction price for the upright is $5000.00, and you pledged a penny towards it, your pledge would be $50.00 for Logos School. A nickel pledge would be $250.00, a dime pledge would be $500, a quarter pledge would be $1,250.00, and a dollar pledge would be $5000.00. You'll, of course, have the opportunity to pledge for both pianos, as well. Likewise, for the grand piano, if the auction price is $10,000, then the penny pledge would be $100.00, and so on. If the pianos go for less, then the pledges totals will be less, if the pianos go for more, so will the pledges. Even though the pianos are worth significantly more than those figures, that is what I estimate them going for at the auction. During the auction, the total pledges will be counted up and mentioned as an incentive to bid higher for the pianos. I anticipate the majority of the pledges will be penny and nickel pledges, but I mention the opportunity to pledge for both pianos because we have already established a matching grant for every penny pledged, up to $25,000, so literally every penny counts! There will also be an opportunity to pledge a specific amount to cover the costs of the event, piano parts, etc.  The pledge boards will be posted and updated in the Logos auditorium, and at the event until the auction.
